Leather & Lucite

I’ve decided to try using this WordPress blog again! I apologize it’s been a while since my last post. Hopefully, I can remember to update this one more often than my other blogs.

My outfit today consists of a new vest I purchased online from the comfort of my own home. With my last year of university life gradually coming to an end, I’ve been back and forth between school and home. Thus, most of my shopping is done in front of my keyboard. This vest by Silence + Noise was a steal at only $17 from Urban Outfitters. I paired it with these fun pants I bought last boxing day from Topshop and best of all… these lucite Jeffrey Campbell heels!

I’ll have to cut this blog post short as my eyes are closing from exhaustion from studying for my Anatomy midterm this morning but I promise I’ll post more often! 🙂

Denim Details

Most of my closet consists of sheer blouses and denim tops. So when I saw this denim + sheer piece at Topshop last week, I instantly fell in love. Moreover, I love the little denim details near the cuff! We were finally graced with some sun today and I was finally able to wear something other than my rain boots. Unfortunately, the next week calls for rain every… single… day. What’s even worse is that I have a major art assignment and a midterm tomorrow, and another midterm on friday. Consequently, I haven’t gotten into much of the Halloween festivities over the weekend! Maybe I’ll dress up while I study? 😀

I’m wearing… Camo Jacket Topshop, Denim Blouse Topshop, Snakeskin Leggings Vero Moda, Purse See by Chloe, and Wedges DV by Dolce Vita.

Oxblood Red

If you’ve been to any clothing stores recently, you’ll know that the colour of the moment is oxblood red. I’ll be honest, I fell pretty deep into the sea breeze blue/ mint green trend of the summer and my closet is living proof of that. So far, this has been my first oxblood red purchase. Topshop recently opened in Vancouver and I fell in love with the pretty details of this sheer blouse on opening day! I love the small gold trim on the collar and sleeves.

I noticed that my outfit today is rather dark and moody. I’m not particularly sure if that’s a reflection of how I’ve been feeling lately… Possibly. I’m the type of person whose mood is strongly dependent on the weather. Unfortunately for me, I live in Raincouver.

Anyways, what do you all think of the oxblood red trend?

I’m wearing… Blouse Topshop, Jacket Urban Outfitters, Asymmetrical Skirt American Rag, Boots The Hudson’s Bay, and Purse BCBGeneration.

The sound of autumn leaves crunching under your feet!

Definitely one of my favorite sounds! On my way home from school, I found myself walking towards piles of leaves just so I could hear the sound of them crunching under my boots. I’ll leave this as a quick post as I have a lot of outstanding work to be done! PS: Have a happy Tuesday! 🙂

What I’m wearing… Cardigan Gap, Sweater American Eagle, Skirt H&M,Boots Forever21, and Purse NineWest.

Rain, rain, rain.

That’s been the weather forecast where I live for the past week and for the upcoming week… I love a little rain once in awhile, but this is crazy! The only good factor that comes out of this is that I get to finally wear my pretty little rain boots! When I saw these boots online, I instantly fell in love (but not with the price…) I waited and waited (impatiently) until these boots became gradually more affordable. Sometime in August, they were a shockingly cheap price but I could not find my size anywhere… I remember calling so many different stores with no luck! Just when I was giving up, my boyfriend calls me and tells me he called a store that had my size and put them on hold! I ended up getting these babies for more than half off the original price! 🙂

I’m wearing... Sweater Forever21, Cape Asos, Jeans BDG via Urban Outfitters, Knit Head-Wrap Urban Outfitters, Purse See by Chloe, Watch Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Rain Boots Hunter.

Chilly Afternoon Walks

Thursday is one of my favorite days of the week this term because it’s my day off! I’m in my fourth year of university, majoring in Biochemistry, and so to have a day off school is always a blessing. Today, I just stayed home and took a walk in my neighbourhood. The weather was beautiful!

I’m wearing… Blouse Gap, Jacket Zara, Skirt Thrifted, Shoes Nordstrom, Belt Thrifted, Scarf Urban Outfitters, and Purse Urban Outfitters.

Cardigan Weather

Hello! This is my first post on a wordpress blog. I have a ton of other websites & blogs but am still trying to figure out which one works best for me! 🙂

Here are a couple of photos from a few days ago. If you don’t already know, the weather in Vancouver can be very unpredictable. From foggy mornings to sunny afternoons to rainy evenings, you never really know what to expect. That is why I love to wear layers in Autumn. It’s fun to pile on different pieces for the cold morning weather, then gradually lose piece by piece throughout the afternoon, and then pile everything back on for the rainy commute home. I really love this sweater (mostly because it has super cute elbow pads!) I actually got it on sale from the Gap… It was the last one there, only three sizes too big. I bought it anyway because I like my cardigans loose!

I’m wearing… Denim Top Billabong, Cardigan Sweater Gap, Scarf Gap, Boots Forever21 and Socks Aeropostale.
